The Milford Select Board met on October 19, 2026. The board approved the amendment to Wrenchula Bioarma’s fuel-storage license at 27 Maple Street and National Grid’s petition to install a utility pole, anchor, and guy wire near Cedar Street to serve a storage-unit site. It also approved several routine licensing and event applications, including one-day beer-and-wine licenses, an entertainment license, a road-race permit, and the transfer of the Burger King common victualler’s license to FPS Hospitality Group LLC. Motions were approved unanimously as recorded. No contract awards, bids, or town purchasing decisions were identified.
The town treasurer reported that the town had received a foreclosure judgment for parcel 19-0-4 near the I-495 ramp, with approximately $170,000 in taxes owed. Based on the town planner’s assessment that the land is landlocked and encumbered by overhead utilities, the board voted to retain the parcel under town custody and control rather than pursue a sale; a later valuation and any potential excess-equity payment may require further action. The board also noted the completion of a police-department electronic message board and town-building improvements completed by staff, with materials and labor provided without charge to the town.
