# GREER PLANNING COMMISSION 10/19/26

**Body:** City of Greer
**Date:** October 18, 2026
**Jurisdiction:** SLED

The City of Greer Planning Commission met on October 19, 2026. The commission approved RZ26-12, a rezoning request for 104 Albert Street from Suburban Neighborhood to Traditional Neighborhood to allow a detached garage; the applicant also described a desired reduction in the side setback from 10 feet to 5 feet. The commission unanimously approved AN26-12, annexing 34.21 acres along West Morland, Reed, and Vaughn Roads and zoning the land Suburban Neighborhood for a proposed 63-lot single-family subdivision by Toll Brothers. Public comment raised concerns about traffic speed and sight distance at the planned West Morland Road entrance. The applicant discussed sewer options and said access and other details would remain subject to engineering and permitting; the commission noted it was considering annexation and zoning, not approving the site plan.

The commission also unanimously approved AN26-13, annexing approximately 43 acres near Highway 101 and Hendricks Road and zoning the property Manufacturing and Logistics. The GSP airport district representative said the request would address a tenant’s leased property spanning city and county jurisdictions for permitting purposes. No procurement, contract awards, spending decisions, or budget allocations were identified.
