The Yukon Planning Commission met on October 19, 2026. No procurement, contract awards, purchasing decisions, or budget allocations were identified. The commission recommended approval of several commercial and industrial development applications: CPI Pipe and Steel’s replat at 16544 W. Highway 66, contingent on final-plat seals and certificates; Williams Family Investments’ preliminary plat for a 24-acre industrial flex-space development at 15960 W. Highway 66, contingent on the city engineer’s drainage-report approval; and associated rezoning and PUD applications. For the PUD, the commission required screening to comply with city regulations. It also recommended approval of an amendment and replat for industrial flex-space Phase 2 to allow a lot split and access from Gregory Road, and a special use permit for a psychiatric medical clinic at 350 W. Bannerman Avenue.

After neighborhood residents raised concerns about changing designated single-family lots to duplex use in Yukon Crossings Phase 2, the commission voted to recommend denial of both R-1-to-R-2 rezoning requests and the related PUD amendment. A request for a SPUD overlay at 1406 Somerton Place was deferred to the next meeting at the city attorney’s request for additional documentation. The commission approved the prior meeting’s minutes; the meeting was adjourned until November 9.
