The St. George City Council meeting was held October 22, 2026. The council unanimously approved the consent calendar and Ordinance 2026-080, amending the Fields at Mall PDC zone plan for a proposed three-story, 45,000-square-foot clinic at Riverbend Point. Approval included a condition requiring a master sign plan for lots 5–8. The council also unanimously approved Ordinance 2026-081, amending the Ledges planned development to adjust residential unit counts across several areas; the overall changes include increases and decreases in different sections.

The council discussed a proposed Rusty Cliffs traditional-neighborhood zone amendment that would reduce the planned development from 380 to 294 units and remove commercial uses from the proposal. Members raised concerns about walkability, future commercial services, and added pressure on roads; the applicant offered to return to the ownership group with that feedback. The council voted to continue the item to its next meeting.
