For Lincoln Park Elementary, the approved orders included credits of $30,188.54 from LaBar Inc. and $11,088 from SM Mechanical, and a $22,011.72 change order with McCardian Sons Inc. For Southern Middle School, the board approved a $5,549.75 credit from Midline Mechanical, a gas-lateral service extension with UGI Utilities pending solicitor review, and a reduction in retainage for McCardian Sons from 10% to 5%. Board members noted that multiple project changes were credits. The board also approved a districtwide additional 50 hours per week of kindergarten aide support, support-staff longevity bonuses, and updated job descriptions; the district reported no changes to job-description pay rates or ranges.

Other approved spending and agreements included a service agreement with Dr. Lisa Hain for an independent educational evaluation, capped at $5,000; professional-learning and research agreements with Penn State’s Hammel Family Human Rights Initiative, American Institutes for Research, and InMind Services LLC (paid through Title IV funds); and the 2026–27 bus routes. The board approved payment of bills, financial reports, and budget transfers for July 1 through September 30, 2026. It also held a first reading of revised overtime/compensatory-time policy 530, described as updated to comply with a new overtime compensation law. Discussion included ongoing Southern Middle School renovations and a proposed district review of technology use in schools; no related purchasing decision was made on that discussion.
