🏗️ Construction & Infrastructure 📚 Education Grants & Funding Physical Infrastructure

The City of Fishers Redevelopment Commission met on October 19, 2026. It approved the October 6 minutes and the claims docket; staff noted no unusual claims beyond previously agreed fees. The Commission also approved a resolution for a reimbursement training grant to INCOG of up to $50,000, capped at $1,500 per employee, for training veteran employees. Members questioned whether the grant had already been approved; the motion passed on the understanding that this was not a second grant, and staff will check the records before seeking a signature or making payment. The training was contracted through the Applied Research Institute’s Heartland BioWorks program.

The Commission approved a temporary access agreement for Buckingham, the field house developer, to use two RDC-owned parcels for construction staging and preliminary detention/retention and utility work; no dollar amount was stated. No other procurement awards or spending decisions were identified. Staff said appraisals and a lease concerning land that includes the IU property would be sent to members later in the week.
