The Greenwich Planning & Zoning Commission met virtually on October 14, 2026, to review zoning, site-plan, and special-permit applications. No procurement activity, contract awards, vendor selections, or spending decisions were identified. The commission approved several land-use applications, including a final site plan for a new 20,614-square-foot academic building at Sacred Heart Greenwich (1177 King Street), subject to conditions, and a residential conversion at 1 East Weaver Street; the latter approval removed the proposed pickleball court and required no amplified sound. The commission also approved a special permit for Foxtrot Farm and Silver Hill Hills Farm to increase the permitted number of horses from 14 to 24 and remove the horse-ownership designation condition, with additional limits on horse-area requirements and public events.

The commission approved the YMCA of Greenwich’s preliminary site plan, allowing its early-childhood program cap to increase from 28 to 42 children, subject to additional attendance and arrival-time information and parking-related conditions. It continued review of a proposed development at 50 Lachland Avenue, requesting more detailed floor-area and cut-and-fill calculations and time for an outside engineering review. The Goddard School proposal at 160 West Putnam Avenue was also left unresolved while the applicant develops revised parking and pedestrian-safety plans. Other residential coastal site-plan applications were reviewed with conditions or further information requested. These decisions concern land use and project design rather than purchasing or procurement.
