The Nampa School District Board of Trustees’ regular meeting on October 21, 2026, included acceptance of the annual financial audit conducted by Eide Bailly LLP. The audit reported a clean financial-statement opinion and no reportable internal-control deficiencies; auditors also said sampled expenditures from the supplemental levy were used for their intended purposes. The board approved formation of a secondary science curriculum adoption committee and approved the second and final readings of policies on contract restrictions (7402) and purchasing goods and services (7400), updated to align with recent Idaho legislation. No contract awards or vendor selections were made.

The superintendent said the district received approximately $47 million through the state’s $5.21 capital-project fund, has used some of it, and will bring a future work session to seek board direction on priorities for the remaining balance. The district is proceeding with roof repair and remediation associated with Central’s temporary transition to Centennial, but no project cost or procurement action was presented. The board also received an update on transportation operations and notice that a draft AI policy is expected in November. Other than the policy approvals, no spending-related motions were taken.
