District 300 Board of Education meeting, July 21, 2026: The board reviewed the master facilities plan and voted to advance Plan C, authorizing a ballot proposition for up to $355.5 million in school building bonds at the November 3, 2026 general election. Plan C was presented as a $442.5 million program, funded by $355.5 million in bonds and $87 million in existing district funds, for additions and renovations, safety and security work, additional classrooms, and a career and technical education center. The presentation also covered proposed stadium improvements and facility needs related to projected enrollment growth and aging buildings. One public speaker urged a smaller or delayed referendum, questioned selected projects, and recommended using existing ECC facilities for CTE. The board approved the ballot-submission resolution; the transcript does not clearly capture its final vote tally. No vendor names or dollar amounts for individual contracts were stated.

The board also approved a managed print services contract extension, a technology services contract renewal, the Dundy Crown High School additions and renovations bid package 2, and a school resource officer item. Each recorded vote on these items passed unanimously, except the NIA executive board ballot, which passed with one abstention. The superintendent separately reported on summer learning, career, and extracurricular programs; no additional procurement decisions were identified in that report.
