At its July 21, 2026 meeting, the Menifee Union School District governing board heard Santa Rosa Academy’s presentation in support of its charter renewal petition. The school requested a standard five-year renewal from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032. District staff will complete an analysis of academic performance, operational compliance, and fiscal health, with a report expected by July 27; the board is scheduled to consider formal recommendations at its August 11 meeting. The presentation also reported that Santa Rosa Academy’s Monterey Hall campus expansion is complete and expected to open to staff and students shortly. The project cost was described as approximately $14 million; it includes 14 classrooms, intervention rooms, and arts and performance spaces.
