The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners meeting on October 15, 2026, approved several housing, service, grant, and infrastructure-related items. The Housing Authority approved Resolution 2008 for the Short Stack Hillside Community Land Trust affordable homeownership project, valued at $978,176 and funded by Metro Affordable Housing Funds and a seller loan, with no county general funds. The Board’s consent agenda, approved 4–0, included a $90,000 two-year amendment with Kafe Commissary Network LLC (bringing the six-year agreement to $390,000); a building-code review and inspection services agreement with Oregon’s Building Codes Division at $20,000 per year through June 2034; and a $160,000 amendment to Traffic Safety Supply Company contract 4154145, increasing its six-year total to $960,000. Also approved were public-service grants, including HUD awards of $908,186.03 for HOME, $187,451 for Emergency Solutions, and $2,118,695 for Community Development Block Grant funds.

The Water Environment Services Board approved, 4–0, amendment number eight to Parametrix’s 3 Creeks floodplain enhancement project contract for $73,690, bringing the contract total to $1,892,341.86. The commissioners also approved two annexations into Clackamas County Service District No. 1 for future sewer service, including one associated with a proposed 199-unit mixed-use redevelopment; both passed 4–0 and involve no county general funds. The Board proclaimed October 2026 Manufacturing Month. Public commenters raised concerns about the sheriff appointment and the cost of an independent review; commissioners discussed the review as a transparency measure, but no new investigative contract or spending vote occurred at this meeting.
