The Historic Districts Review Board of the City of Santa Fe met on October 13, 2026. The board considered historic-status reviews and a design application; no procurement activity, contract awards, vendor selections, or spending approvals were identified. The board approved the staff calendar for 2027. For 713 Dunlap Street, it affirmed the building’s 1928 date, recognized it as contributing, and designated the south façade (façade 2) as primary. At 1545 Canyon Road, the board voted to classify the residence as noncontributing, contrary to staff’s recommendation, citing changes including additions and enclosure of the original porch. It accepted staff’s recommendation that 311 Old Santa Fe Trail be classified as noncontributing.

The board unanimously approved the application for 330A East Buena Vista Street, which includes converting the existing 400-square-foot garage to living space, adding a 58-square-foot garage/storage area, and replacing windows and installing fencing. Staff also reported that the city’s administrative hearing body had upheld the board’s prior approval of a project at 515 Paseo de Peralta after an appeal. Members requested that a recording of a windows information session be shared when available and asked staff for a brief summary of related city hearings.
