The Nashua Planning Board meeting on October 15, 2026, approved several land-use and development applications; no government procurement, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified. The board unanimously approved a conditional use permit for vehicle storage and indoor repair at 10 North Southwood Drive for Tulley Automotive, with engineering’s traffic-contribution condition left to staff to resolve. The engineering memo cited $18,750, while board members favored allowing the Division of Public Works to determine an appropriate amount and corridor. The board also approved a site plan for a 48,000-square-foot flex/industrial building and, after approving requested waivers and dimensional modifications, a 48-unit apartment project at 181 East Hollis Street. The apartment proposal includes a traffic contribution condition accepted by the applicant.
The board extended Gateways Community Services’ approvals for a nine-unit housing project at 4 Beard Street through October 19, 2028, to allow more time for fundraising; the applicant cited just under $500,000 in federal HOME-ARP funds granted, an application for approximately $1 million in federal discretionary funding, and a $500,000 funding application. The extension also avoids annual renewal applications and their stated $750 fee. Members discussed affordable-housing policy and requested further information on housing trends and land-use regulations, but made no policy change during the meeting.
