The Oak Hills Park Authority meeting for the City of Norwalk, Connecticut, was held October 15, 2026. After an additional member joined and a quorum was established, the Authority approved the prior meeting minutes with a correction to the recorded executive-session time. No contracts or capital expenditures were approved. Staff reported that a cost-saving contract for paper and restroom supplies, including new dispensers, had been signed. Encon completed quarterly HVAC maintenance, and minor electrical repairs and a clubhouse roof repair were also reported. A website redesign and domain/email transition are being planned with Four Up; staff noted that a more robust system would have financial implications and said technology upgrades would be considered in future budgets.

Capital planning included discussion of golf-course wells, drainage, and cart paths. The superintendent said the wells project was unlikely to use its capital budget allocation this calendar year. Paver pricing for a cart path is still pending, with oil prices potentially affecting costs; members also discussed prioritizing drainage work on hole 1 and coordinating drainage with a path project. Long-range planning is expected to include potential budgets. The Authority discussed resident golf rates for 2027, including gathering course-use data by residency; the rates are expected on the November agenda, followed by a required public hearing and vote in December. Outings policies and budgets may also be revisited. The Nature Advisory Committee reported that a $35,000 grant application to Athletic Brewing Company was unsuccessful.
