The City of Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission met on October 15, 2026, to consider subdivision, annexation, rezoning, and preliminary plat applications. No procurement activity, contract awards, or spending decisions were identified. The Commission continued the Moms Empire Subdivision rezone and short-plat application at 1000 Northwest 4th Street to November 19, 2026, by unanimous vote, allowing the applicant time to work with staff and submit a concept plan addressing lot fit and other outstanding issues.

The Commission recommended approval of the Sterling Ridge Subdivision annexation and preliminary plat, with modifications, including keeping Vantage Point Lane open, adding open space and amenities in the southern portion, exploring parking near the eastern walking loop, and providing barriers to discourage trespassing, subject to irrigation-district approval. It recommended denial of the Singing Woods Subdivision annexation and preliminary plat because of unresolved concerns about safe traffic circulation on Fireline Court, residential open space and circulation, the transition in building height next to Serenity Lane, and internal circulation. These were recommendations to City Council, not final Council decisions.
