The City of Wilsonville Planning Commission meeting on October 14, 2026, included a public hearing on Resolution LP 26-0005, the code enforcement update project. The Commission adopted the resolution by a 7–0 vote, recommending amendments to Chapter 4 of the Wilsonville Code to align with updated Chapter 1 enforcement procedures, clarify the planning director’s enforcement authority, and preserve other legal remedies. City Council is expected to hold a hearing on the broader code updates in November, with the changes scheduled to take effect January 1, 2027. No procurement, contract award, or spending decision was identified.

In a work session, commissioners and staff discussed development of clear and objective tree-removal standards for residential projects, including tree retention, mitigation, species selection, canopy and tree-health criteria, and how standards can reflect community priorities while meeting state requirements related to housing development. Staff and project partner 3J Consulting will consider the feedback and are expected to bring draft code language back to the Commission in December. The discussion was advisory; no decision or spending action was taken on the tree standards.
