Antrim County Board of Commissioners meeting, October 15, 2026. The board approved claims totaling $72,809.20 and authorized a 20-year airport land lease with OFS Property Management LLC, expiring October 31, 2046. In discussion of the lease’s 5% annual escalator, the airport manager said he would research rates at comparable airports. The board also approved a seventh amendment to the indigent-defense attorney administrator agreement with Paul Jarvo and Field for $72,000, with finance directed to make the necessary budget amendments, and approved the state indigent-defense grant agreement for fiscal year 2026–27. Commissioners discussed the county’s bake-ready work: a local contractor was brought on to help keep asphalt work on schedule, and courthouse parking immediately in front of the building is expected to be repaved this year.
