At its August 25, 2026 meeting, the Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees approved several agreements and facilities-related expenditures. The board approved an interlocal agreement with Harris County Department of Education’s Academic and Behavior School West Campus for $368,250, a KaBOOM playground community-partner agreement requiring an $8,500 contribution from Parks Elementary, and an antenna site lease with Diamond Towers V LLC for the existing tower at Bush Elementary. It also approved final electrical service easements for the 2022 bond replacement projects at Jessup and Parks Elementary for $1 each, and a $20,869.82 credit under allowance expenditure authorization AEA No. 004 for CTE culinary arts projects at four high schools. A $116,623 expenditure for the Jessup replacement project was approved after discussion of a temporary HVAC system needed to maintain the schedule following a change in the City of Houston fire department’s interpretation of the design. The board also approved July 2026 budget amendments and other agreements, including a dual-credit agreement and another interlocal agreement whose details were unclear in the transcript; amounts for those items were not reliably audible.

The board adopted TASB Localized Policy Update 127, covering local policies affected by new state and federal laws and rules, and received presentations on district safety and security compliance and summer enrichment programs. The safety presentation described existing audits, emergency plans, drills, and threat-assessment practices, but did not identify a specific procurement action. The consent agenda and the recorded agreements and project items were approved by vote; no vendor-selection competition or new solicitation was discussed.
