The City of Boca Raton Planning & Zoning Board meeting was held October 15, 2026. No government procurement, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified; the agenda primarily covered land-use and development approvals. The board voted 6–0 to postpone Calvary Christian Academy’s request to amend its conditional-use approval and site plan. It voted 6–0 to recommend CRA approval of the 101 East Palmetto project, including a 27-space parking deviation, and 6–0 to approve the Bertani at Broken Sound development: 60 residential units, including six affordable units, parking structures, retail space, and related site improvements. The amended Residences of Boca Raton project was also approved 6–0; it reduces the approved residential count from 190 to 133 while increasing building area and adding restaurant use.
The board approved shared finger-pier variances for two residential properties and marina finger-pier variances at The Boca Raton, each by 6–0 votes. The marina work is subject to conditions including updated resource and coral-relocation information and required permits. Public comments raised concerns about downtown building scale, traffic, parking, and the use of public right-of-way. The board also adopted its 2027 meeting calendar by a 6–0 vote, with July removed from the schedule. These decisions concern private development and zoning rather than public spending or procurement.
