The City of Reno Planning Commission meeting on October 14, 2026, considered land-use and development applications; no government procurement, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified. The commission approved a conditional use permit for Grafee America’s indoor manufacturing operation at an existing industrial site, including four proposed silos and conditions limiting outdoor truck activity. It also approved a major rear-setback deviation for an accessory dwelling unit at 3340 Thornhill Road. The Dandini South Residential case was continued to December 16, 2026. The commission recommended approval of Jacob’s Entertainment’s two Neon Line District pedestrian skyways to City Council, voting 4–3, and extended the building-permit deadline from 18 to 36 months.

For the proposed Reno soccer stadium and mixed-use development near Kitsky Lane and East Peckham Lane, the commission unanimously recommended the master-plan and zoning-map amendments expanding the gaming overlay, subject to the further review process. It approved the conditional use permit 4–1, with added conditions requiring an event-specific noise analysis if amplified entertainment is programmed, an event traffic-management plan, and an executed shared-use agreement for 845 spaces at RSCVA Lot C or equivalent off-site parking before the stadium receives a certificate of occupancy. Commissioners discussed traffic, noise, airport review, parking, and community engagement; no public spending allocation or procurement action was taken.
