The Morgan County Plan Commission meeting was held October 14, 2026. The commission approved the September 14 minutes and meeting agenda, and introduced Alec Willis as a new advisory member representing Monrovia. It unanimously approved waiver petition W26-01, allowing Kayla and Brandon Sellers to use North Deaf Drive to access a parcel they are seeking to purchase, after they presented consent from current easement owners. The commission discussed that the waiver does not itself record an easement and leaves the applicants responsible for securing access rights.

The commission also approved minor plat petition MIP-26-11, a two-lot subdivision of 20.67 acres near North State Road 39 in Gregg Township. The proposed lots are intended for residential homes, with private wells and septic systems; access permits for the state road will be required. No contracts, vendor selections, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
