The Ada County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on October 14, 2026, focused on land-use applications; no procurement activity, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified. The Board approved a zoning amendment, development agreement, preliminary plat, and variance for a two-lot, 9.36-acre subdivision on South Five Mile Road. It also found Dry Creek Ranch to be developing in substantial accordance with its plan, allowing work to continue, after reviewing resident feedback and developer updates on trails, roads, water and sewer infrastructure, and amenities. An appeal was withdrawn, and the Board approved an easement vacation for an accessory structure, a partial parcel consolidation and related easement vacation, and a zoning amendment, development agreement, one-time division, and private road application near Kuna. The latter two property applications remain subject to applicable building, floodplain, survey, or infrastructure requirements.
The Board did not decide the requested time extension for the Polarmo subdivision. After testimony raised unresolved drainage damage, grading and easement concerns, and disagreement over whether a trail should be public or subject to reciprocal-access terms, the Board voted to table the matter until its November 17 open business meeting for review of the submitted proposals and conditions. Staff had recommended a one-year extension with revised conditions; the applicant requested two years. No procurement-related spending motions or vendor selections were made.
