City Council Meeting Monday 2025 02 24

The City of Eau Claire Common Council held a public hearing on street, utility, and sidewalk improvements on February 24, 2025. City engineering staff presented nine proposed projects across several neighborhoods: Charles, South Dewey, Eddie Lane, Emery, Mars, Maxon, East Polk, West Tyler, and Whipple. Work generally includes utility replacement or adjustments, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway-approach repairs, and pavement resurfacing or reconstruction. Additional features include bike lanes and pedestrian crossings on Eddie Lane, bus-stop pads, and a proposed removal of the East Polk Avenue segment between May Street and East Lexington Boulevard.
