At the August 11, 2026, Eau Claire City Council legislative session, the council unanimously approved contract award procurement No. 2026-45 for phase one of the Carson Park Stadium upgrades. The work includes accessible bleachers and seating, heated and fully plumbed restrooms, and a concrete walkway; the contract amount and contractor were not stated. The project will use $400,000 in private donations held by the Eau Claire Community Foundation, along with city funding appropriated previously. Additional stadium improvements remain future phases dependent on funding.
