Plan Commission 9/15/2025

The City of Eau Claire Plan Commission met on September 15, 2025. It approved the August 18 minutes 7–0 and approved amendments to the Land Development Ordinance and applications manual, including clarifications for planned developments, residential accessory structures, glazing, lot dimensions, and flood-fringe construction. The commission also approved three rezoning requests, forwarding them to the City Council for consideration: a 0.55-acre site for a food-court expansion, a 5.88-acre riverfront property to support zoning compliance and possible future land division, and a 1.44-acre North Hastings Way property. Future site plans are required for the proposed developments.

The commission approved 7–0 a site plan for a roughly 25,000-square-foot, two-story Security Financial Bank headquarters and branch at Princeton Crossing, with a drive-through, community-use space, and additional parking. No government contracts, purchasing decisions, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified; the agenda focused on land-use regulation and private development proposals.
