School Board Meeting - September 28, 2026

The OCFSD Board met on September 28, 2026. The board approved the consent agenda and approved calling a special meeting of the electorate for October 12 to consider authorizing lease amendments during the 2026–27 fiscal year; this was a step toward possible lease amendments, not approval of a specific lease or vendor contract. The meeting also included discussion of creating two teaching positions, six 7-hour aide positions, and two 5.5-hour aide positions to address staffing needs and aid recruitment and retention. The board discussed the district’s compensation plan and the cost and benefits implications of increasing aide hours under the Affordable Care Act.
