Special Governing Board Meeting - October 13th, 2026

Mesa Public Schools held a special Governing Board meeting on October 13, 2026, to review the FY 2025–26 Annual Financial Report (AFR), which was due to the Arizona Department of Education by October 15. The board approved the report by a 5–0 vote. The presentation reported more than $836 million in expenditures across all funds and described a cash shortfall relative to budget carryforward, which officials clarified is not a budget deficit or overspending.
