The San Bernardino Planning Commission meeting on October 13, 2026, approved two land-use applications unanimously. The commission approved Development Permit P-24-03 for a 42-unit multifamily project at 431 San Felipe Road, subject to conditions of approval. Residents raised concerns about traffic, the road’s blind curve, emergency access, parking, lighting, noise, and privacy. Staff said the project had undergone department and traffic review and would require frontage improvements, including curb, gutter, ADA-compliant sidewalks, landscaping, and engineering review. The commission also unanimously approved a conditional use permit modification allowing certain beer and malt-liquor products to be sold in manufacturer-packaged formats smaller than the previously required six-pack, while not allowing single-can sales. Another agenda item was continued to the November 10 meeting.
No procurement activity was identified: the meeting did not discuss contract awards, bids, vendor selections, purchasing, or spending allocations. The director reported on planning workload and new business openings; no procurement-related action items were recorded.
