PUSD Board Meeting October 13, 2026

At the October 13, 2026 Parlier Unified School District Board meeting, trustees approved a $31,761.81 change order for Marker Construction’s outdoor-learning/quad project modifications, including approximately $16,000 for welding-shop electrical equipment. The board also approved a one-year culinary consulting contract with Brigade LLC, awarded under RFP 27 2027001, with options for up to two one-year renewals; the district identified kitchen and cafeteria funds as the funding sources. Other spending-related approvals included revised classified and classified-management salary schedules reflecting a 2.25% increase effective July 1, 2026, and a voluntary professional-development agreement providing $75 per hour, funded through the Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant. The board approved a $2,000 donation for the student food pantry, among other donations.

The board also approved reopening negotiations with the teachers’ association and the district on specified contract articles; these were negotiation proposals, not settled contract terms.
