The City of Grandview Board of Aldermen regular session on October 13, 2026, approved an agreement with Grandview Youth Court for youth court services and authorized payment (Ordinance 7680). The board also approved payment to Enterprise Fleet Management for vehicle purchases in fiscal year 2027 (Ordinance 7681); no contract amount was stated. In other infrastructure updates, the city reported that sidewalk work on Byers had begun and that a wide sidewalk connection near the train depot was underway. The city also secured and deposited $250,000 from Jackson County for Main Street and the city market.
The board approved dissolving the TIF 9 special allocation fund and ending the redevelopment designations for project areas 1 and 2 (Ordinance 7683). Officials said the 23-year TIF had reached its statutory end, its associated bonds were paid off in March, and remaining funds would be distributed to the taxing jurisdictions; the project had included a $5.6 million loan from the Missouri Development Finance Corporation. Public comments raised concerns about vegetation near power lines and the cityโs Flock automated license plate reader cameras, but no related action or procurement decision was taken.
