The Whitman Planning Board meeting on August 11, 2026, approved favorable action, by a 4–0 vote, on Victoria Cochran’s request at 441 Washington Street to remove an existing garage and replace it with a similar garage in approximately the same location. The board found the proposal on the existing nonconforming lot no more detrimental than the current structure, with the rear setback improving slightly. No contract awards, bids, or purchasing decisions were made.
