BOE Teaching & Learning Meeting 10/13/2026

The SPS Board of Education Teaching & Learning Committee met on October 13, 2026. The committee reviewed district assessment results in literacy, math, science, and social studies, along with Smarter Balanced and SAT data. Presenters discussed student performance and growth, comparisons with state or national benchmarks, and areas for attention, including transition grades and students with higher support needs. Districtwide SAT results exceeded state averages in both English language arts and math, while several grade-level results showed mixed growth.
