The City of Pflugerville Equity Advisory Board met on October 12, 2026. A public commenter urged the board to consider accessible walkways and sidewalks, including at Stonehill Center, when shaping Unified Development Code (UDC) changes or incentives. The Planning and Development Services Director described proposed code updates involving more flexible housing options, pedestrian and recreational access, parks and gathering spaces, and greater flexibility for reinvestment and redevelopment. No UDC action or procurement decision was taken. Staff said a right-of-way analysis and recommendations related to the Historic Colored Addition beautification project would be brought to the next meeting; no project budget, contract, or vendor was discussed.

The board reviewed plans for community story-gathering sessions, including a proposed 90-minute format, facilitator principles, audio-only recording, and participant consent; it asked that the materials return for consideration at the November 9 meeting. Members approved appointments of Lily Milliner and Nikia Brown as St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church representatives and Tony Caldwell Henton as a founding-family descendant representative. They also approved Dr. Nadine and April as the Equity Advisory Board’s two representatives on the project’s Community Advisory Board. The board deferred consideration of changing the eligibility rule affecting ETJ resident Cliff Styles. No procurement activity was identified.
