Eagle Mountain City Council meeting — October 6, 2026. The council reviewed procurement and infrastructure matters, including a presentation on the city’s history with UFSA/UFA. Presenters reported 2026 revenue of about $10.9 million and expenditures just over $12 million, and described station, staffing, and apparatus investments. If Eagle Mountain separates from UFSA, its estimated bond obligations would include about $1.2 million annually for the 2021 bond and roughly $350,000 for its allocated share of the 2016 bond; ownership and repurchase arrangements for a station remain unresolved. The consent agenda included a Utah County interlocal agreement for Ranches Parkway improvements, a purchase agreement with Smith Food and Drug, and purchases of multiple land parcels. Council members asked staff to track land-disposal proceeds separately for future budgeting. The city engineer presented an updated culinary water impact-fee facilities plan, raising the five-year capital-project estimate from $73.2 million to $109.1 million, principally to account for updated costs and a larger, long-term Central Utah Waterline; the council approved the plan. The wastewater impact-fee plan was tabled for further work. A citywide speed study by Hales Engineering identified potential traffic-calming work, with estimated costs discussed at about $400,000 for moderate measures and a larger package also considered; council members requested further review and prioritization rather than approving construction spending.

The council tabled both the proposed Corgan Farms rezoning and its related data-center development agreement for additional review. Discussion focused on development benchmarks and duration, energy generation, road obligations, and who would pay to operate and maintain sewer lift-station infrastructure; no project approval or contract award was made. The council also discussed wastewater-facility permitting and financing, ongoing road and water projects, and a city investment-portfolio presentation. A motion passed directing staff to provide quarterly reports on the city’s water assets. No other major procurement award was identified.
