The City of Marshalltown City Council meeting was held October 12, 2026. The council unanimously approved a $2,049,700 contract award to Woodruff Construction Inc. for the flow equalization improvements in the industrial pretreated wastewater project (WPC25002); staff said the bid was within 8% of the engineer’s estimate. The council also approved a facade grant for Lars Bakery III LLC at 15 South Center Street. Staff said the grant request was $8,500, the program maximum for the eligible work. In the monthly report, staff noted East Main construction was 88% complete. No other contract award or purchasing decision was identified.
