The Glendora Unified School District Board of Education regular meeting on October 12, 2026, included the oath of office for student board member Eva Elkin, recognition of three National Merit Semifinalists, and student and board reports on school and community activities. The superintendent announced that the district would begin accepting applications for a Citizens Independent Bond Oversight Committee in preparation for the November 3 bond election, if the bond passes. The committee would have at least seven members, including representatives from specified community groups and two at-large members; district employees, vendors, and officials are ineligible. Applications were to be posted October 13, with a deadline of October 21 at 4 p.m.; recommended members would be presented to the board for consideration on October 28 or November 9.

The board approved a credential authorization for a middle-school science teacher and passed resolutions on Digital Citizenship and Responsible Technology Use and Red Ribbon Week. It also approved the consent agenda as a block, without discussion of individual items in the transcript. No contract awards, bids, vendor selections, purchase decisions, specific bond amount, or capital project allocations were identified; the bond oversight announcement was preparatory, contingent on the election outcome.
