The Delaware County, Ohio Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting on October 12, 2026, approved several spending and procurement-related items. The board approved supplemental appropriations for a Sheriff’s Office grant from the Ohio Attorney General to expand the jail’s medication-assisted treatment program, and additional appropriations and a transfer tied to increased county data-storage needs. It also approved a FY2027 mental-health and recovery services agreement, continued electronic-monitoring services with Allied Universal, a utility-pole relocation agreement for a roundabout project, eight right-of-way work permits, and a contract with Bonded Chemicals through 2027; the county currently spends about $80,000 annually on ferric chloride for two wastewater plants. The board set bidding for a sewer rehabilitation project with an engineer’s estimate of $429,080 and for the Tartan Fields manhole replacement project.

The board also approved the V-Not No. 23 watershed drainage improvement petition and authorized the letting of contracts. The estimated construction cost is $283,172.57; the project includes drainage and channel work, and assessments will be allocated among benefited properties. Commissioners objected to the proposed Northwood tax-increment financing district while indicating negotiations should focus on funding future Bixby Parkway extensions. They also authorized a local-sponsor application for the 2027 farmland-preservation funding round. The listed resolutions passed by voice vote; no competing bids or vendor selections were reported at this meeting.
