Baltimore County Landmarks Preservation Commission meeting, October 8, 2026: The commission unanimously approved consent-agenda tax-credit applications for roof and gutter replacement at 705 Clive Road and window and screen repairs and a storm-door replacement at 7117 Bristol Road. For an amendment to a previously approved tax-credit application, commissioners approved credits for wood siding and window work, with siding required to match the house’s existing profile; synthetic siding may be installed but will not qualify for the tax credit. The commission also unanimously approved an after-the-fact application for work at 363 Fieldstone (including the rear deck, driveway, and stone walkway), subject to restoring the front façade’s historic features, replacing synthetic slate with real slate, and submitting completion photos within six months.

The commission unanimously issued a notice to proceed for a revised rooftop solar-panel layout at 1720 Arlington Avenue, recognizing the panels’ visibility but finding the revised placement acceptable given the site’s constraints. Additional Part 2 tax-credit approvals were noted for roof, flashing, truss, and siding work at a Lutherville property. No government contract awards, purchasing decisions, or procurement spending were identified; the votes concerned preservation approvals and tax-credit eligibility for privately owned properties.
