The City of Palm Coast Code Enforcement Board met on October 7, 2026. After administering the oath to new or reappointed members and approving the September 2 minutes, the board heard numerous property-code cases involving parking, trailers and commercial vehicles, nuisance accumulations, weeds, driveway maintenance, rental registration, and building conditions. Most cases resulted in motions approving the city’s recommendations, including compliance orders, recurring or daily fines, and administrative or court costs. Examples included a repeat boat-parking violation with a recommended fine of $75 per day totaling $3,675, a city-property violation with $3,050 accrued and continuing, and several orders setting fines of $25 or $50 per day; common case costs were $53.50 or $69.

The board also adjusted compliance periods in individual cases: it approved additional time for a greenhouse-related violation and extended the roof-repair compliance period to 60 days, with the city indicating it would await permitting progress before further action. In a landlord’s consolidated cases, members discussed reviewing the combined fines before deciding whether to reduce them; the initial motion failed and a motion to consider all three cases together was made. No contracts, purchasing decisions, bids, vendor selections, or procurement-related budget allocations were identified.
