October 8, 2026 City Council Regular Meeting

The City of Lake Forest Park City Council’s October 8, 2026 regular meeting included a procurement action on the Beach Drive lift station project. The consent calendar, which included authorization for the mayor to sign a professional services agreement with Skillings, Inc. for 100% design, was adopted. The design contract is for a little over $1.1 million; the project currently has more than $3 million in the capital improvement plan. The project would replace two aging lift stations with one, update side sewers, and move the sewer main away from the lake. Council discussed design, funding estimates, power-outage protection, and impacts to nearby properties and waterways.
