July Monthly School Board Meeting

Florence County School District 3’s July monthly school board meeting was held July 17, 2026. The board reviewed the district’s finances and approved, by motion, the use of $1,499,000 from fund balance to address a projected fiscal-year 2026–27 gap: reported revenue was about $35.8 million against expenditures of about $37.3 million. Members discussed uncertainty about state funding and the district’s remaining fund balance.
