10/8/2026 Hamilton County Regional Utility District Trustee Meeting

The Hamilton County Regional Utility District Board of Trustees met on October 8, 2026. Trustees approved the prior meeting minutes and claims, and unanimously approved a $10,000 interfund transfer to the office supplies line. They also approved the loan forgiveness program resolution after discussing proposed changes from Trustee Altman, and approved a $250,000 appropriation from the district’s general fund for the program; the Redevelopment Commission has committed an additional $100,000. The board approved an amendment to the interlocal agreement needed for long-term refinancing of 2023 bond anticipation notes associated with the $65 million Phase 1 and 2 project, as well as initial financing of just under $10 million for Phase 3.

Wessler Engineering reported that Phases 1 and 2 are in punch-list completion, with Phase 3 underway pending drainage-board permits. The board also approved a Wessler task-order amendment (the transcript refers to Task Order 5 and an amendment to Task Order 1; no amount was stated). Trustees authorized notice of a petition to bring county-owned land at Potter’s Bridge within the district’s jurisdiction. No public comments were offered.
