The City of Salina Downtown Design Review Board met on October 8, 2026. The board considered application CC26016, submitted on behalf of Roosevelt Lincoln Lofts LLC, to relocate two previously approved ground signs at the former Roosevelt and Lincoln school buildings. The sign designs, materials, dimensions, and number of signs would remain unchanged; the applicant said moving them closer to the street would improve their usefulness. Staff found the proposed locations consistent with downtown design guidelines and recommended approval subject to staff review of significant future design or material changes and issuance of a separate sign permit. Installation must also wait until the applicable 14-day appeal period has passed.
Board members expressed support, and a motion to approve was made, but the transcript cuts off before recording the complete motion or its disposition. The board reported no other business; no contracts, purchasing decisions, or other procurement activity were identified. The next meeting was scheduled for October 22, 2026.
