Mahoning County Commissioners Board Meeting No. 39 was held October 8, 2026. The commissioners unanimously approved the minutes and bills, followed by agreements A–G. Procurement items included a $14,122.54 non-general-fund SUV outfitting agreement with Hudson Communications; an estimated $1,505.14 agreement with Ohio Machinery for parts and repairs to fleet vehicle No. 77; and generator service at county locations for two years at an estimated $12,279 per year, funded by the general fund. Other approved agreements included JDM lead-hazard control work for $36,650, Travis Systems’ annual One Roof specification-writing software maintenance for $2,700, and ALJ Construction lead-hazard work (the amount was unclear in the transcript). The board also approved a five-year, $40,000 non-general-fund agreement for a Soter RS full-body scanner. A Tom Septic and Drain change order increased by $200 using general funds; that motion also passed unanimously.

The commissioners unanimously approved resolutions that included a transfer from the general fund to the bond and general obligation fund; a $1,514.22 settlement payment to East Ohio Gas Company; and a $573 moral-obligation payment to J.W. Murdock and Sons for emergency garage-door repairs at the Justice Center. They also approved a contract with Canfield City Police Department to implement the 2027 Mahoning County OVI Task Force Grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Other resolutions addressed an annexation petition and membership on the local emergency planning committee. No other specific procurement action was clearly established in the discussion.
