The Oklahoma City Planning Commission met on October 8, 2026, to consider land-use, subdivision, and right-of-way matters; no procurement activity, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified. The commission approved the September 24 minutes, three uncontested continuances, four consent-docket final plats, and a variance and final plat for The Peak. It also recommended approval of a comprehensive-plan amendment and final plat for Villas at Frisco Ridge, a vocational-school special permit, and several rezoning or PUD applications, some subject to technical evaluations and added conditions. These cases addressed proposed housing, accessory dwelling units, outdoor storage limits, landscaping, access, and neighborhood compatibility; discussion of water, sewer, drainage, and alley improvements concerned development requirements rather than city purchases.

Several cases were continued for additional review or revisions: items 6 and 7 and a rezoning application were continued to October 22; another rezoning was continued to October 22 pending further discussion; and cases involving multifamily development, a right-of-way closure, and other applications were continued to November 12. The commission also discussed future study sessions on the city code update and a transit-related topic. No spending or procurement motions were taken.
