The Walpole Zoning Board of Appeals met on October 7, 2026, to consider three zoning cases. The Board voted to continue Case 26-5, concerning 745 Main Street, to December 2, 2026, at 7 p.m., with an extension of time through January 31, 2027. In Case 26-11, the applicant sought a special permit for a home-based clothing consignment business at 620 Washington Street. After discussion of neighborhood traffic and safety concerns, the residential character of the area, and limits on home occupations, the applicant withdrew the request without prejudice; the Board approved the withdrawal. No special-permit relief was granted for customer drop-offs, pickups, or sales at the home.

In Case 26-10, Wall Street Development Corp. requested a variance to reduce the rear-yard setback from 30 feet to 20 feet for three planned homes, allowing first-floor primary bedrooms. The Board denied the variance, with no votes in favor and four opposed. The Board also approved minutes from three prior meetings and discussed upcoming cases and meeting dates. No procurement, contract awards, purchasing decisions, or spending actions were identified.
