Description

This project aims to identify biological mechanisms linking sleep disorders and HIV-associated inflammation, with potential to reduce cardiovascular disease risk in people with HIV through sleep-based or pharmacologic interventions. The research will utilize stored and prospectively enrolled samples to evaluate monocyte activation and gene expression before and after sleep interventions.
