Description

This project aims to evaluate the efficacy of systemic bevacizumab in reducing chronic bleeding and anemia in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) through a phase II clinical trial. The primary endpoint is a composite Hematologic Support Score (HSS) measuring red cell transfusions and iron infusions. Secondary endpoints include quality of life improvements assessed via PROMIS instruments and a specific HHT QOL tool. The study will also analyze angiogenic biomarkers to understand bevacizumab's impact on the angiogenic milieu in HHT.
