Description

This project aims to use digital mobility phenotyping to improve the prediction of Alzheimer’s disease dementia and identify brain pathologies and proteins that inform on this association. It focuses on the early detection of preclinical Alzheimer’s dementia through mobility metrics, including motor planning and attentional metrics, obtained from sensors. The study will analyze these metrics to identify subgroups with varied risks and explore the underlying brain pathologies and proteomes, particularly from the supplementary motor area (SMA) and dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC). The goal is to enhance early diagnosis and develop targeted treatments.
