Description
This project aims to determine the contribution of the rostral region of the posterior hypothalamic nucleus (rPH) in stress adaptation, focusing on stress habituation. The study will evaluate the role of the rPH in acquiring stress habituation and how its neural activity is modified by repeated homotypic stress. Both female and male rats will be studied to assess sex differences in stress adaptation.
